"Black and blue over green", letters to the editor, Toronto Star, May 2, 2007

Black and blue over green, May 2, 2007

It's sadly amusing to read the letters of Daniel C. Farrell, Peter Tenneson, or Paul Connolly, who themselves defend the indefensible, sidestepping the real climate-change ineptitude of two Liberal majority governments (Jean Chretien's and Dalton McGuinty's) while blaming imagined
climate inaction on Conservatives.

When the Star asked in its editiorial of the same day to "Cool the Kyoto hot air", it neglected to mention McGuinty's all-too-clever "FLICK OFF" campaign, which is a prime example of how even the government contributes to the devaluation of any Kyoto debate.

Dogmatic preachers of hell-and-brimstone Kyodiotism need to be tempered at their pulpit by skeptical agnostics.
