Niagara Falls Then and Now: Ma Agretto's Spaghetti House

At the north-west corner of Centre St. and Ellen Ave., just one block west of the top of Clifton Hill, is the building known as Ma Agretto's Spaghetti House, as seen Jan.8, 2009. All photos copyright R.Bobak.

below - seen in the far distance is the Post cereal factory (formerly known as the Nabisco plant) one of the few 'real factories' remaining in Niagara. The factory was once served by a rail spur connecting directly to the now-gone Michigan Central Railroad mainline track, which was just as a block away, running alongside Victoria Ave.
