Brantford demolition continues

below: [further to my earlier post] As seen in the July 29, 2010 photo below, the demolition along Colborne St. in Brantford has claimed #91-93 Colborne St., which is the building seen almost fully demolished at the far right; lastly this had been the site of International Hair Salon. This structure was built in 1865 and first occupied by grocer Thomas Brooks.
The next building to its left, still standing, with the two small dormers facing the street, is #95-97 Colborne St. (lastly Ideal Pizza on the right (west) side) which was built in 1878.
above: July 29, 2010: heavy equipment carries off a piece of the hair salon as the building at #91-93 Colborne St. is being demolished - that's part of the ceiling containing the downlights which illuminated the storefront's showcase near its entryway - see earlier view here.
above: July 29, 2010, looking up from Water St., a small part of the rear brick wall of #91-93 is still standing; most of the building has been razed.
Next to its right is the rear of #95-97, (with the green and orange walls exposed) where a large rear addition has already been torn down - see earlier view of same area here.
